Navy and gray cabinets appear in kitchens all over the places and seem to be all the rage these days. Below are a few kitchens we found on Instagram that we thought you might love. We think updating your kitchen to something like one these will make your home feel fantastic. Hopefully, 1 of these 5 kitchens are going to provide you some wonderful inspiration kick starting your project.
First, it is hard to go wrong with navy shaker cabinets, quartz counter tops and gold hardware. Top it off with large scale pendants, oversized island, herringbone floors, funky bar stools and you have yourself a kitchen that makes your friends jealous.
Taking that previous color navy and white scheme and throw-in a modern euro-style high gloss lacquer cabs and end up with a lux design. Also, I have to say I love that natural wood display case in the kitchen. It totally softens the high-gloss and bright white edge to the space.
A gray kitchen island can elevate the aesthetic of any kitchen. While providing some much needed color to a standard white kitchen. Top it off, by dropping in a Persian runner and the space is complete.
Most people lean toward a white quartz counter these days, but you can use darker granite counters and still end up with a fantastic design. The way the space balanced the addition of the darker counter with a gray accent wall and bold yellow bar stools make for a wonderfully subtle contemporary kitchen.
“We wanted a practical space that was more of a hub of the home. We both enjoy cooking, so we wanted a larger, warmer kitchen-diner to suit our family needs,” recalls homeowner Praminthra Chitesbesan. “Now, the island works amazingly and is large enough to be effective without being overpowering.” (📸: Jeremy Phillips)
Finally, I love a slate floor in a kitchen. Then to use the slate’s gray tone and a similar gray cabinet is just a amazing look. These shaker cabs with brass hardware look just fantastic with an apron sink.
